About Sonny's Sports Stuff

Sonny's Sports Stuff came from a dream of Sonny Banks.  A football fanatic; his dream was to share his love of football and offer sports novelties at a decent price.   After volunteering for the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation for 11 years with his wife Deb, they decided to travel around NE Florida attending weekend shows selling NFL and NCAA novelties.  

As business increased, he decided to rent a kiosk at Regency Mall during the 4th quarter of 2015.  At the end of the lease, he decided that he needed more space.

In 2016, Sonny's Sports Stuff expanded their inventory and moved to Pecan Park Flea Market and stayed for 8 years.  They were regarded as one of the anchor stores but were looking to move to a non-outdoor format building.

In 2023, we turned our dining room into a sewing room that we refer to as "The Banks Bear Factory".   We make our own NFL & NCAA envelope pillows and unique bears that make adorable gifts. 

As we are now retired; in late 2024 we made the move to Norwood Plaza Flea Market where we opened a shop which is open Thur-Sun each week.    We pride ourselves with providing quality products at affordable prices.   Stop by and see us today for your favorite NFL team novelties or for NCAA college teams, Florida, FSU, Miami, FAMU, Alabama or Georgia novelties.
